Frequently Asked Questions
How to choose between NANO, SMART, and FLOW?
Flow and available space are the two key criteria. NANO is ideal for small spaces and 1 to 2 people (1.4 L/min). SMART is suitable for a household of 2 to 4 people, with a good balance between flow, comfort and simplicity (1.6 L/min). FLOW is designed for large families or intensive use (3.1 L/min).
Can I install it myself?
Yes. Each reverse osmosis system comes with comprehensive instructions and remote assistance (video and audio). Installation does not require specialized tools. Professional installation is also available if you prefer to delegate it.
Is the tap included?
Yes. A 1-way faucet is included with each Aquacycle reverse osmosis system. It is installed next to your existing mixer tap. 3-way faucets are available as an option, so you only have one faucet for hot, cold, and osmosis water.
Is remineralization included?
Yes. It is included with all Aquacycle under-sink reverse osmosis systems (NANO, SMART, and FLOW).
What kind of maintenance should I plan for?
Your reverse osmosis system comes with an initial set of filters. The cartridge should be replaced approximately every 12 to 18 months depending on the model, and the membrane every 3 to 4 years. For SMART and FLOW, the LED indicator will automatically alert you when it's necessary.
What's the difference with the NOMAD?
The NOMAD is a standalone RO system: no plumbing connection required, it operates on a power outlet with a manually filled tank. NANO, SMART, and FLOW are under-sink RO systems, connected to the water supply and delivered with a dedicated faucet. They are designed for permanent and daily use.
