If in doubt, Aquacycle encourages you to check the purity of your water with a TDS tester. The ideal value obtained is between 10 and 100 ppm.

How do I do maintenance?

A reverse osmosis plant is inherently durable, as the main wearing parts are the filters. Simply change them to extend the life of your reverse osmosis unit.

Maintaining an osmosis plant is extremely simple:

1. Turn off the water supply
2. If you have a reservoir, close it
3. Open the osmosis water tap to reduce the pressure in the osmosis unit.
4. If you have a "traditional" type osmosis plant, unscrew the filter holders using the plastic key supplied. A simple quarter-turn is all you need.
5. If you have a "compact" type osmosis plant, it's even simpler: remove the faceplate to access the filters, which can be unscrewed manually.
6. Replace the filters. Be careful to respect the order
7. Once replaced, retrace points 4 to 1 in the opposite direction.
