Maintenance kits Aquacycle are specially designed to provide you with all the filters, membranes and cartridges you need, while saving you money over the long term.

Order your filters are specifically designed to group together all the filters needed to ensure the longevity of your reverse osmosis units over a period of 2, 3 or 4 years, depending on the model.

1. CONTENT AND FREQUENCY

• PP filter (x2)

• • Polypropylene (5 pickups)

• • Change on average every 12 months

• • Risk in the event of lack of maintenance: clogs up and slows down the osmosis unit's flow rate.

• GAC filter (x2)

• • Activated carbon granules (1 micron)

• • Change on average every 12 months

• • Risk in the event of lack of maintenance: no longer completely eliminates chlorine, which dissolves the osmotic membrane

• CTO filter (x2)

• • Activated carbon block (0.5 micron)

If in doubt, Aquacycle encourages you to check the purity of your water with a TDS tester. The value obtained should be within between 10 and 100 ppm.

2. HOW TO CARRY OUT MAINTENANCE

A reverse osmosis plant is inherently durable, because the main wearing parts are the filters themselves. Simply change them to extend the life of your reverse osmosis unit.

Maintaining an osmosis plant is extremely simple:

1. Turn off the water supply
2. If you have a reservoir, close it
3. Open the osmosis water tap to reduce the pressure in the osmosis unit.
4. If you have a "traditional" type osmosis plant, unscrew the filter holders using the plastic key supplied. A simple quarter-turn is all you need.
5. If you have a "compact" type osmosis plant, it's even simpler: remove the faceplate to access the filters, which can be unscrewed manually.
6. Replace the filters. Be careful to respect the order
7. Once replaced, retrace points 4 to 1 in the opposite direction.
