Kit maintenance

Visit Aquacycle maintenance kits are specially designed to provide you with all the filters, membranes and cartridges you need, while saving you money over the long term.

All filters are Ecosoft, equipped with Filmtec membranes (world-renowned and tested for superior quality).

By choosing Aquacycle, the maintenance date of your osmosis unit will be recorded in our system, and we'll be sure to follow up automatically when your filters need replacing.

• PP filter (x2)

• • Polypropylene (5 pickups)

• • Change on average every 12 months

• • Risk in the event of lack of maintenance: clogs up and slows down the osmosis unit's flow rate.

• GAC filter (x2)

• • Activated carbon granules (1 micron)

• • Change on average every 12 months

• • Risk in the event of lack of maintenance: no longer completely eliminates chlorine, which dissolves the osmotic membrane

• Osmosis filter (x1)

• • Osmotic membrane (0.0001 micron)

• • Change every 24 months on average (highly dependent on pre-filtration quality)

• • Risk in the event of lack of maintenance: clogs up and produces less and less pure water, while discharging more and more water down the drain.

• Post membrane filter (x2)

• • Organic activated carbon - eliminates odours or drip from the tank

• • Change on average every 12 months

• • Risk in case of lack of maintenance: bad taste and smell of water

 

If in doubt, Aquacycle encourages you to check the purity of your water with a TDS tester. The ideal value for table water is between 10 and 100 ppm.

Comment faire l’entretien ?

L’entretien de la fontaine Blue Glacial est très simple :

1. Turn off the water supply.
2. Unscrew the rear cover using a Phillips screwdriver.
3. Loosen the screw visible on the inside to slide out the filter drawer.
4. Replace all 4 filters and membrane. For each filter:
   1. Remove the safety catch
   2. Detach feed and outlet tubes
   3. Replace old filter with new one
   4. Repeat B and then A.

Respect the order of the filters. If there are collars, you can cut them off without replacing them. They have been put on for transport only.

5. Close the rear panel, repeating steps 3 to 1.

En cas de doute, Aquacycle vous encourage à contrôler la pureté de votre eau avec un testeur TDS. La valeur obtenue doit être comprise entre 10 et 100 ppm.
