Model description

 

This system uses advanced reverse osmosis technology to remove up to 99.8 % of contaminants, including PFAS, chlorine, heavy metals, nitrates, drug residues, pesticides and organic substances.

The Mobilos fountain osmosis unit features multi-function cartridge filtration combining a pre-filter and activated carbon block to eliminate impurities, followed by a high-performance osmotic membrane (DOW Filmtec), guaranteeing pure, perfectly filtered water.

The inner reservoir (after the membrane) is made from high-quality Tritan plastic, BPA- and BPS-free. It is specifically designed to withstand exposure to light, although there is no light inside the device.

This osmosis water cooler is equipped with a removable 4-liter reservoir that must be refilled every 3 liters of water consumed. The water rejected by the membrane returns to the main tank before being sucked back into the system for a new filtration cycle. To prevent the water from looping endlessly, becoming increasingly concentrated with unwanted particles, we've set the suction access at 25% of the tank height.

This leaves 1 liter of concentrated water to be emptied when the removable tank is refilled. A second 90cl reservoir inside the unit stores the osmosis water before heating it instantly and dispensing it at a rate of 40 cl/min (whether tempered or hot).

The Mobilos osmosis plant is equipped with a TDS probe that measures the purity of the water BEFORE it enters the filter. This limit is set at 1000 ppm and cannot be modified or deactivated.

We therefore do not recommend using the Mobilos with water exceeding 500 ppm. In fact, as the water rejected by the filter has a higher TDS and is returned to the external tank, 1000 ppm will quickly be reached, starting from a value of over 500 ppm.

CALCIUM WARNING: The osmotic membrane is sensitive to limescale. From 25°f hardness, we recommend installing a Scalex system before the osmosis unit. Above 40°f, an osmosis plant will not operate under normal conditions, so choosing a Scalex becomes essential.
