The container is made from high-quality SAN* Luran® material, guaranteeing the filter's reliability and durability.
SCALEX contains active ingredients: phosphorates and acrylic polymers. They prevent tartar build-up through 3 complementary actions :

The filter has a capacity of 20,000 liters or up to 400 wash cycles - i.e. daily use of your washing machine for an entire year.
However, tap water often contains impurities such as sand, iron or organic particles. Over time, these contaminants can clog the filter material, preventing the release of the active anti-scale ingredients into the water - even if the granules still contain the active substance.
To ensure continuous protection against limescale we recommend replacing the filter media every 6 months.

Visit SCALEX filter is intended for use with cold tap water only. For optimum performance, we recommend installing the filter in a vertical position.
Important Before first use, rinse filter with water for 2-5 minutes to remove any particles or residues from the manufacturing process.
