Ecological CO2 softener

Model description

SoluCalc is a CO₂ injection water softener. The softener is installed just after the water meter. As the system is compact, it can be easily installed in tight spaces. The SoluCalc treats the water for the entire building, adapting to changing needs and developments.

How it works:

• Injection of CO₂ at every water passage, even at low flow rates.
• Treatment of 100% of water, in an operating range from 1 L to 5,000 liters of water/h.
• Chemical formula for SoluCalc operation: CaCO₃ + CO₂ + H₂0 -> Ca (HCO₃)².
• The SoluCalc connection to the gas pressure reducer is provided with a 1.2 m long CO₂ "BLACK" hose, with a tapered connection to the pressure reducer and a clipped connection to the SoluCalc. Additional length possible and possibility of offsetting CO₂ cylinders.
• Power supply is provided by a small 220 - 12 V, 450 mA transformer, fitted with a 1.2 m cable with standardized connection.
• Average consumption: 1m³ water = 0.1 kg CO2 = <0.5 EUR.
• No water wastage.
• Insignificant power consumption.
