FILTRATION
This system uses advanced reverse osmosis technology to remove up to 99.8 % of contaminants, including PFAS, chlorine, heavy metals, nitrates, drug residues, pesticides and organic substances.
The Mineros osmosis unit provides three-stage filtration:
REMINERALIZATION
ALKAFLOW technology contains Magnesite (MgCO₃) to improve water quality by enriching it mainly with magnesium (Mg²⁺) as well as other minerals such as Calcium (Ca²⁺), Sodium (Na⁺), Potassium (K⁺), enhancing both taste and health benefits. The system maintains a constant mineral content of 60-80 ppm in the purified water, ensuring that each glass contains the optimal balance of these beneficial elements.
As water passes through the filter: MgCO₃ + 2H⁺ → Mg²⁺ + CO₂↑ + H₂O

When the service life of a PP/C, RO or Alkaflow filter has expired, the red indicator light flashes.
Recommended replacement frequency :
- PCB filter: 12 months
- RO membrane: 24 months
- Post-filters: 24 months
Rinse
The system automatically rinses the membrane on a regular basis to ensure a long service life. Manual rinsing is recommended after prolonged periods of inactivity (more than 3 days). Simply run the tap for a few seconds.
If in doubt, Aquacycle encourages you to check the purity of your water with a TDS tester. The value obtained should be between 10 and 100 ppm.
